UWinnipeg distinguishes itself as a research innovator through many of its growing number of graduate programs, such as its Master in Management with specialization in Technology, Innovation and Operations; its Master of Arts in Criminal Justice; and the newly added Master of Environmental and Social Change (MESC). MESC students choose a degree path for their specialization and participate in training activities that bridge social and natural science with humanities research that includes human geography, natural sciences, and environmental studies. UWinnipeg is focused on providing a wide variety of work-integrated-learning opportunities for students; nearly 56 percent of students participate in them before they graduate.
