Ontario, BC, Alberta, and Quebec Select New Immigration Candidates.
Four Canadian provinces – Ontario, British Columbia (B.C.), Quebec, and Alberta – have recently invited candidates to apply for immigration through their respective provincial programs.
Except for Nunavut and Quebec, all Canadian provinces and territories use a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to select skilled economic immigrants. These programs aim to address local labour market needs and demographic challenges. Quebec has a unique agreement with the federal government, giving it control over its economic immigration programs.
On July 25, Ontario issued 209 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) through the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream of its Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

Candidates who received invitations can now apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate.
